Requirements
- Bring 7+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience.
- Have experience managing complex, multi-entity, mid-market, or private-equity-backed accounts and navigating stakeholders beyond the finance function.
- Demonstrate a track record of managing and expanding existing customer accounts, with a focus on relationship building, retention, and account growth.
- Be able to independently close complex mid-market deals and manage the full commercial cycle through final negotiation and close.
- Show a history of exceeding sales quotas and closing deals with average selling prices of $50K or more.
- Demonstrate consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, and executive engagement skills.
- Have strong organizational and project coordination skills to manage multiple stakeholders, opportunities, internal teams, and priorities.
- Be highly process-oriented, with pipeline hygiene, forecasting discipline, and attention to commercial details.
- Have proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and sales engagement tools such as Salesloft, Outreach, or comparable platforms.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow a portfolio of existing strategic customers, identifying opportunities to expand adoption of payments, accounts receivable automation, collaboration, and cash application solutions.
- Partner with Customer Success Managers to develop coordinated account strategies and execute plans that improve customer outcomes and drive revenue growth.
- Build relationships with finance, accounting, and IT executives and stakeholders in private-equity-backed and holding-company environments.
- Understand customer priorities and transformation goals, and position solutions to reduce manual work, strengthen controls, improve efficiency, and accelerate the invoice-to-cash process.
- Lead opportunity identification, qualification, value articulation, proposal development, negotiation, and closing across assigned accounts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for sales-related activities throughout the expansion cycle.
- Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and forecasting, tracking opportunities, stakeholders, and next steps.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Solutions Consulting, Implementation, and Customer Success teams on customer opportunities.
- Share best practices, identify inefficiencies, and recommend tailored solutions as a strategic advisor.
- Take ownership of account growth opportunities, address forecast gaps, and move opportunities from discovery through close.
