Requirements
- Have 5+ years of successful enterprise software sales experience, including at least 2+ years selling to SLED accounts.
- Demonstrate a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas of $1M+ annually.
- Have experience navigating complex procurement processes and government contracting requirements.
- Demonstrate the ability to close six- and seven-figure deals.
- Understand SLED buying cycles, budget processes, and decision-making structures.
- Have presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Be able to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Have strategic thinking and business acumen, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be proficient with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.
- Have a bachelor's degree; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience selling automation, AI, or digital transformation solutions is preferred.
- Knowledge of RPA, AI technologies, public sector compliance requirements, or cooperative purchasing agreements is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas for new business and expansion revenue within the assigned SLED territory.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to win new accounts and expand existing customers.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and closure.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Establish executive relationships with state, local government, and education organizations.
- Understand customer challenges and align UiPath solutions to their needs.
- Develop knowledge of SLED market dynamics, procurement processes, and compliance requirements.
- Represent UiPath at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
- Partner with solutions engineering, professional services, customer success, marketing, legal, and finance teams.
