Requirements
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
- Comply with HIPAA guidelines when handling confidential health information.
- Demonstrate proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Type at least 40 WPM.
- Be detail oriented, accurate, and organized when handling data entry.
- Communicate orally and in writing with customers and referring sources.
- Work independently and maintain productivity during evening hours with limited or no direct managerial support.
- Work collaboratively with the Intake team and other departments.
- Be punctual and reliable, with a professional appearance and demeanor.
- An associate degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor intake queues for new orders, customer record updates, service cancellations, and other communications.
- Review incoming communications critically to determine the required action before processing or entering data.
- Navigate healthcare portals and online resources to find information needed to process orders.
- Identify missing or incorrect information and take steps to correct and process orders.
- Enter new orders and relevant information into the company system.
- Update existing customer records and cancel service when needed.
- Answer calls and emails from customers, care managers, and referring sources.
- Provide evening phone coverage for members wishing to opt in to eligible Medicare Advantage services.
