Requirements
- Have 3–5 years of experience in content editing, digital publishing, journalism, content marketing, and public relations.
- Have 3-5 years of experience in an agency environment.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and a strong command of AP style.
- Bring experience editing and optimizing digital content, including long-form guides, thought leadership, comparison posts, trend reports, infographics, and SEO-driven articles.
- Understand SEO fundamentals and how content supports organic growth.
- Have experience editing or reviewing PR-focused content such as press releases, media pitches, expert commentary, or data-driven campaigns.
- Adapt tone, complexity, and structure to audience, publication standards, and client needs.
- Manage multiple deadlines and client projects through strong project management and organizational skills.
- Have experience working in Google Workspace and project management systems.
- Provide thoughtful, actionable editorial feedback to writers and teammates.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively in a fully remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Review assigned client copy for strategy, quality, brand voice, tone, and content goals.
- Assess content structure, flow, reader value, and strategic effectiveness.
- Check on-page SEO/GEO best practices, including keyword integration, internal linking, readability, meta titles, and meta descriptions.
- Fact-check names, statistics, claims, dates, and references for accuracy and sourcing.
- Give writers clear, constructive editorial feedback and strategic coaching rather than making direct edits.
- Coordinate with managers, designers, and writers on strategic gaps, structural improvements, and content quality.
- Manage and improve Grammarly to support client style guides and address recurring feedback.
- Edit and review Digital PR assets, including press pitches, data studies, expert commentary, survey reports, and media-facing content.
- Review design direction and visual recommendations to ensure they complement written content.
- Manage multiple deadlines and projects while meeting utilization and quality expectations.
