Requirements
- Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent international credential, or 7+ years of professional content moderation experience.
- Have 3+ years of experience working in a fast-paced office environment.
- Have professional-level fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
- Be able to read, comprehend, and assess content quickly and make on-the-spot decisions.
- Be comfortable learning and using new web-based applications and tools.
- Be able to engage with team members in a remote environment.
- Commit to a semi-flexible schedule of 16–29 hours per week, including four hours between Saturday at 12:01 AM and Sunday at 11:59 PM.
- Be willing to check in on days not scheduled to work and provide quality assurance checks of teammate and machine-moderated content.
- Have an up-to-date computer and smartphone, reliable high-speed internet, and a functioning home office.
Responsibilities
- Read, assess, and apply applicable codes to user-generated text, images, and videos in a queue environment.
- Review performance feedback and work to minimize coding errors and meet or exceed performance metrics.
- Attend scheduled and as-needed one-on-one coaching calls.
- Check in on days not scheduled to work.
- Work 16–29 hours per week based on content volume, with four scheduled weekend hours.
- Use Google Mail, Calendar, Meet, Sheets, and Docs, as well as Slack and forums, to manage performance expectations.
- Perform quality assurance checks of teammates’ and machine-moderated content.
