- Have experience editing and recruiting high-caliber writers and editors.
- Bring strong news judgment and an eye for quality journalism and stories with viral or share potential.
- Have deep familiarity with the competitive set in the CRE news space in Texas and Chicago.
- Have extensive experience working in content management systems.
- Have basic SEO knowledge.
- Business-to-business reporting experience is preferred; commercial real estate reporting experience is a major plus.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute day-to-day coverage of Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Chicago.
- Develop long-term packages and special projects for Bisnow.com and its newsletters.
- Manage a team of full-time reporters and freelancers, including their organization and professional growth.
- Assign articles.
- Line edit online articles, newsletters, and morning briefs.
