Requirements
- Have 4+ years of product design experience and a proven track record of leading design initiatives.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools.
- Have expertise in UI design, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.
- Bring a strong understanding of product strategy, metrics, and OKRs.
- Have a deep understanding of agile development methodologies.
- Be able to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Have experience leading design reviews and mentoring other designers.
- Have experience defining and implementing design best practices.
- Experience in the travel industry and/or luxury products and services is highly preferred.
- Experience in web design and diverse user research techniques is appreciated.
- Be available to generally maximize overlap with California hours.
Responsibilities
- Participate in product strategy discussions and contribute to the product vision and roadmap.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering managers to lead a Product Squad and work with stakeholders on B2C and B2B web applications and an internal platform.
- Conduct user research to gather insights, identify user needs, and inform design decisions.
- Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- Prepare detailed handoff documentation with design files, component specifications, and interaction behaviors.
- Iterate and refine designs based on feedback, user testing, and data-driven decision-making.
- Maintain a consistent visual language across applications using established design systems and guidelines.
- Advocate for user-centered design and promote design best practices.
