Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing complex software products.
- 5+ years of programming in Ruby on Rails.
- Strong front-end fundamentals in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience building complex interactive UIs with modern component-based frameworks.
- Experience with AWS or other public cloud environments.
- Experience with Linux-based infrastructure.
- Experience with relational databases such as Postgres.
- Experience with AI coding tools, such as Claude Code.
- Preferred: Experience with ClickHouse.
- Preferred: Experience building cybersecurity products or building or operating SOC platforms.
- Preferred: Experience with Hotwire, Stimulus, or Turbo.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across investigation and triage experiences, remediation actions, queues, and customer-facing reporting.
- Lead the development of high-quality software, designs, and architecture.
- Design and build analyst-facing interfaces end to end, from data model to browser.
- Set front-end quality standards for usability, performance, accessibility, and reusable patterns in partnership with UX.
- Review code and test plans, pair with engineers, and lead security-by-design reviews.
- Own the evolution, configuration, risk management, delivery, reliability, and uptime of features, with observability and test automation.
- Mentor engineers across the team.
- Partner with Product, UX, and SOC stakeholders to turn operational pain points into reliable, auditable systems.
