Requirements
- Have 10+ years of experience developing complex software products.
- Have 5+ years of programming experience in Ruby on Rails.
- Bring strong front-end fundamentals in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Have experience building complex interactive user interfaces with modern component-based frameworks.
- Have experience with AWS or other public cloud environments.
- Have experience with Linux-based infrastructure.
- Have experience with relational databases such as Postgres.
- Have experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code.
- ClickHouse experience is preferred.
- Experience building cybersecurity products or building and operating SOC platforms is preferred.
- Experience with Hotwire, Stimulus, or Turbo is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across the SOC Experience surface area, including investigation and triage, remediation actions, queues, and customer-facing reporting.
- Lead the development of high-quality software, designs, and architecture.
- Build analyst-facing interfaces end to end, from data model to browser, and set front-end quality standards in partnership with UX.
- Set engineering standards through code review, test plan review, and hands-on pairing.
- Lead security-by-design reviews of designs and code.
- Own the full lifecycle of systems, including evolution, configuration, and risk management.
- Share ownership of delivery, reliability, and uptime, with observability and test automation built in.
- Mentor engineers across the team.
- Partner with Product, UX, and SOC stakeholders to turn operational pain points into reliable, auditable systems.
