Requirements
- Hold an active clinical license from the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (LBESPA).
- Be in good standing with no disciplinary actions on any license held.
- Have experience with telehealth platforms for assessment and teletherapy delivery in a school/IEP context.
- Have a reliable, FERPA-compliant technology setup, including a webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, and a private, distraction-free workspace.
- Be comfortable collaborating remotely with classroom teachers, case managers, and families.
- Work as a 1099 independent contractor following the school district’s calendar.
Responsibilities
- Deliver speech and language instruction through teletherapy.
- Evaluate students’ speech and language levels.
- Translate evaluation findings into clear, actionable goals.
- Design individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s IEP.
- Carry out individualized treatment plans.
- Document sessions and track progress toward IEP goals.
- Partner with school-based staff, teachers, case managers, administrators, and families to coordinate on student progress.
