Requirements
- Commit to at least 20 hours per week and up to 40 hours per week.
- Hold an active, unrestricted, valid SLP license in your state of residence, in good standing.
- Hold a current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCCs).
- Be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish.
- Have school experience or experience working with a school-aged pediatric population.
- Have experience conducting virtual sessions.
- Be comfortable using various types of technology.
- Have access to a laptop (not a Chromebook) for virtual sessions.
- Follow Huddle Up documentation guidelines for evaluation reports and daily SOAP notes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to school-based children through virtual care.
- Provide telehealth services to a diverse population of school-aged children.
- Collaborate with school instructors and experienced clinical mentors.
- Participate in IEP and team meetings.
- Serve as a case manager or process coordinator.
- Prepare progress reports as requested by the school.
- Complete Medicaid billing when necessary.
- Follow documentation guidelines for evaluation reports and daily SOAP notes.
