Requirements
- Hold an active SLP license from the Minnesota Department of Health, or be willing to pursue reciprocity.
- Hold a valid Related Services license from the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB), or be willing to pursue reciprocity.
- Be in good standing with no disciplinary actions on any license held.
- Have experience with telehealth platforms for assessment and therapy delivery in a school/IEP context.
- Provide a reliable, FERPA-compliant technology setup, including a webcam, headset, and stable high-speed internet.
- Have a private, distraction-free workspace.
- Be comfortable collaborating remotely with classroom teachers, case managers, and families.
Responsibilities
- Deliver speech and language instruction in a virtual classroom.
- Evaluate students' speech and language levels and translate findings into actionable goals.
- Design and carry out individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's IEP.
- Document sessions and track progress toward IEP goals.
- Partner with school-based staff, teachers, case managers, and administrators to align on student progress.
