Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; an advanced degree such as an MBA, MHA, or related qualification is preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
- Substantial responsibility for physician leadership, clinical operations, or healthcare delivery at a multi-site or enterprise level.
- Demonstrated success improving financial and clinical performance across multiple markets, divisions, or locations.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with value-based care models, programs, performance initiatives, or contracting preferred.
- Experience building, developing, and leading high-performing leadership teams through growth and organizational change.
- Ability to lead through others at scale in a multi-site, physician-led healthcare environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and financial, operational, and business acumen.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with physician and non-physician leaders.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively for leadership, operational, and market-related activities.
Responsibilities
- Set enterprise-wide clinical strategy, standards, and performance expectations with executive leadership.
- Drive clinical quality, performance, patient safety, compliance, and accountability across divisions and markets.
- Represent clinical practice management in enterprise strategy, executive decision-making, and board-level reporting.
- Partner with operations and Division Medical Presidents to align clinical priorities with growth, financial performance, and operational objectives.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, development, performance management, and succession planning for physician leaders.
- Operationalize value-based care strategy and monitor quality metrics and performance targets across clinical practices.
- Cultivate physician engagement, clinical excellence, collaboration, leadership development, and accountability.
- Provide clinical due diligence and strategic guidance for acquisitions, de novo sites, and new market development.
