Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
  • Have typically 7 years of progressively responsible information systems experience with technical or project management exposure.
  • Hold an Epic clinical application certification, such as Ambulatory, Orders, or ClinDoc.
  • Have years of experience with Epic clinical applications and deep, hands-on experience across core applications.
  • Demonstrate experience leading complex, high-visibility projects from concept through execution.
  • Bring experience delivering strategic initiatives, including emerging and AI-enabled healthcare solutions.
  • Understand software architecture, healthcare standards, and end-to-end workflow design.
  • Be able to translate complex business requirements into streamlined workflows.
  • Bring expertise in change management and driving adoption of process improvements.
  • Be able to develop functional requirements, risk assessments, cost estimates, project plans, and delivery tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and administer the Epic Factory AI Program and other cross-application strategic initiatives.
  • Work with IT leadership and business units to develop business cases and understand requirements for technology-related business problems.
  • Support business relationship management, business strategy and planning, and portfolio and demand management.
  • Coordinate and monitor project activities, providing technical direction to project teams and ensuring compliance with design and quality standards.
  • Analyze portfolio initiatives and identify measurable outcomes; implement processes and tools to measure project benefits.
  • Mentor and coach IT teams on workflow and functionality for new systems and enhancements to existing systems and processes.
  • Create business process mappings that show complex system workflows and interdependencies.
  • Support project risk management, communication plans, implementation strategies, work plans, and scope.
