Requirements
- Bring professional experience in commercial finance, deal finance, pricing, FP&A, or revenue-focused financial analysis.
- Demonstrate advanced financial-modelling capabilities and understanding of revenue, margin, cash flow, profitability, and return on investment.
- Review complex commercial contracts and identify financial, operational, and contractual risks.
- Use sound commercial judgement to make recommendations independently and with limited supervision.
- Influence senior commercial stakeholders while maintaining financial discipline and objectivity.
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in Portuguese and English.
- Manage multiple complex priorities with strong analytical and detail-oriented skills.
- Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Accounting, and operational teams.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Have advanced Excel proficiency and familiarity with ERP, CRM, and business-intelligence platforms.
- SaaS, software, technology, or subscription-business experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of ARR, bookings, renewals, churn, revenue conversion, IFRS 15 or ASC 606, and commercial governance is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary finance partner to commercial leadership on deal economics, pricing, revenue quality, and financial risk.
- Evaluate commercial opportunities for profitability, cash flow, contractual commitments, pricing structures, and overall deal value.
- Build and maintain financial models for pricing decisions, renewals, expansions, and customer negotiations.
- Review commercial agreements and explain their financial, operational, and profitability implications.
- Exercise delegated approval authority over commercial proposals within established governance parameters.
- Monitor conversion of bookings and annual recurring revenue into recognised revenue, identifying performance gaps and opportunities.
- Support revenue, margin, and profitability objectives with analysis, recommendations, and commercial insights.
- Establish deal-review criteria, approval processes, and commercial finance controls.
- Partner with Sales, Legal, Revenue Operations, Accounting, and senior leadership throughout the commercial lifecycle.
- Report on pipeline, revenue conversion, margins, risks, and opportunities, and conduct post-deal reviews.
