Requirements
- Have 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Have strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Have hands-on experience using React or Node.js.
- Have working familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Have experience working with REST or RPC-style APIs.
- Be able to independently complete well-scoped engineering tasks and recognize when to seek guidance or escalate technical questions.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be eager to learn, receive feedback, and develop toward greater ownership.
- React Native experience is preferred.
- Exposure to serverless or event-driven architectures, including AWS Lambda or SQS, is a plus.
- Interest or experience in healthcare, telehealth, or regulated and compliance-focused environments is advantageous.
- Exposure to PHP/Laravel is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship well-tested features and bug fixes across a TypeScript monorepo.
- Write clear, maintainable code and meaningful automated tests.
- Debug existing systems and escalate architectural questions when appropriate.
- Break tickets into actionable implementation steps with technical leads and deliver work reliably.
- Partner with Product and QA to understand requirements, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
- Keep work-in-progress visible and current in team tracking tools.
- Document technical work through tickets, pull requests, Confluence, and other appropriate tools.
- Participate in stand-ups, planning sessions, retrospectives, and code reviews.
