Requirements

  • Approximately 12 years of overall IT experience, including at least 9 years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience.
  • Significant expertise with Mule 4 and strong proficiency with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, APIKit, and MuleSoft connectors.
  • Hands-on experience with HTTP/HTTPS, Salesforce, database, Anypoint MQ, and other commonly used integration connectors.
  • Strong API design and development experience using RAML and/or OAS.
  • Extensive experience deploying applications to CloudHub and managing the Mule application lifecycle.
  • Advanced DataWeave skills, including complex data transformation, mapping, and processing.
  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services, API-led connectivity, integration patterns, and microservices.
  • Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (Mule 4) certification is mandatory.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Fluent Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively and support client needs in both languages.
  • Ability to work effectively during US working hours.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise integration solutions using Mule 4, the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, and CloudHub 2.0.
  • Design and develop APIs, integration flows, reusable components, and DataWeave transformations.
  • Apply API-led connectivity principles, integration patterns, microservices concepts, and MuleSoft best practices.
  • Design APIs using RAML or OAS and develop REST- and SOAP-based integrations.
  • Review code, establish development standards, and provide technical direction, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Deploy and manage Mule applications across CloudHub environments and support CI/CD-based deployments.
  • Troubleshoot development and production issues and address performance, reliability, and availability.
  • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, infrastructure, security, and architecture teams.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, API design, development, and architectural requirements.
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and support clients in Spanish and English.
