Requirements
- Have 6+ years of enterprise sales or business development experience in fintech, banking, payments, or Banking-as-a-Service.
- Bring a track record of hunting, developing, and closing complex, high-value partnerships; multi-million-dollar deals are preferred.
- Have direct experience with sponsor bank models, embedded finance, or related program management ecosystems.
- Understand KYC, AML, consumer compliance, and third-party risk requirements and their implications for commercial deal structures.
- Demonstrate negotiation, commercial strategy, and deal-structuring capabilities.
- Understand API-driven financial infrastructure and modern fintech technology.
- Be able to manage revenue targets while maintaining accurate forecasting and disciplined sales operations.
- Balance commercial growth with regulatory, compliance, and risk considerations.
- Engage credibly with founders, C-suite leaders, and senior decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Acquire partners across fintech companies, marketplaces, and enterprise brands pursuing embedded finance strategies.
- Build and manage a high-value sales pipeline through prospecting, industry networks, strategic partnerships, and ecosystem relationships.
- Lead complex enterprise sales cycles with founders, C-suite executives, and other senior stakeholders.
- Own opportunities from initial engagement through negotiation, contracting, and partnership execution.
- Structure and negotiate commercial partnerships, including program design, pricing, revenue-share models, and contractual terms.
- Translate client use cases into sponsor bank program designs covering card issuing, deposits, and payments.
- Coordinate compliance, risk, legal, finance, product, and other internal stakeholders through deal processes.
- Track pipeline progression, forecast revenue, and report deal risks and expectations.
