Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management, product strategy, or closely related product leadership experience.
  • Meaningful experience at Senior Product Manager, Group Product Manager, Principal, Director, or comparable level.
  • Experience taking data-intensive, analytics, geospatial, ISR, AI/ML, or workflow products from discovery through commercialization and adoption.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Government defense and intelligence mission environments, user and operator workflows, and government buying behavior.
  • Experience conducting customer discovery, validating problems, testing concepts, and translating insights into product decisions.
  • Experience with pricing, packaging, market segmentation, product positioning, and revenue-oriented product strategy.
  • Ability to translate technical, geospatial, and mission concepts into product requirements and executive-level recommendations.
  • Ability to lead across matrixed organizations and balance customer needs, market signals, economics, mission impact, strategy, and technical feasibility.
  • Preferred experience with GEOINT, remote sensing, commercial electro-optical imagery, spectral data, SAR, or multi-source geospatial analytics.
  • Federal acquisition and budget knowledge, including PPBE, OTAs, CSOs, IDIQs, data purchases, and software licensing, is highly desirable.
  • Experience with U.S. intelligence community agencies, COCOMs, Military Services, NRO, NGA, or other civil, defense, or intelligence organizations is preferred.
  • Experience with international defense markets, product-led capture, market shaping, customer advocacy, or emerging commercial technology adoption is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Define product strategy, roadmaps, investment priorities, and product direction for defense and intelligence offerings.
  • Lead market and customer discovery with U.S. Government users, mission owners, buyers, acquisition stakeholders, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Translate mission problems, feedback, and operational workflows into product requirements, priorities, outcomes, and success criteria.
  • Identify common mission requirements and develop scalable products, reusable capabilities, and configurable workflows.
  • Evaluate build, improve, package, partner, or deprioritize decisions using customer value, market opportunity, revenue potential, strategic fit, and technical feasibility.
  • Develop pricing, packaging, licensing, and value propositions based on customer willingness to pay, acquisition pathways, budgets, competition, and product economics.
  • Partner with Federal, Growth, and Business Development teams to understand funded demand, shape opportunities, support capture activities, and develop product proof points.
  • Work with Engineering, Sales, and Market leadership to align customer and capture needs with product priorities and technical delivery.
  • Monitor competitors and substitutes across Earth observation, GEOINT, analytics, AI/ML, workflow, and data-fusion markets.
  • Define and monitor product metrics, communicate decisions and performance to senior leadership, and oversee the product lifecycle through adoption.
