Requirements
- Have 10+ years of experience in product design, including at least 4 years leading and developing product designers.
- Provide a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of shipped products, experiences, and design decisions.
- Have experience defining and executing an experience vision for complex products and translating strategy into scalable patterns and shipped experiences.
- Have experience designing complex, expert-user enterprise software and demanding professional workflows.
- Have experience designing AI-powered or agentic product experiences, with a thoughtful approach to trust, transparency, control, explainability, and failure modes.
- Demonstrate systems thinking, including platform-level information architecture and design systems that support product teams.
- Have practical UX research experience, including customer interviews and usability testing.
- Communicate customer and product insights to senior executives and influence decisions.
- Have people leadership experience, including coaching, direct feedback, talent development, and building design teams.
- Be able to work with urgency, sound judgment, and adaptability in a fast-moving environment.
- Be located in the United States; the San Francisco Bay Area is preferred.
- Bonus: Experience in cybersecurity or designing for security operations, insider risk, or data protection teams.
- Bonus: Experience leading design through a major platform migration or consolidating products into a unified platform.
- Bonus: Experience building a design function, including hiring, leveling, processes, and operating rhythms.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product design experience across the platform and its security workflows.
- Define the experience vision for human-and-AI collaboration, including agent-assisted investigations and human-in-the-loop decisions.
- Lead, coach, and develop product designers and raise standards for design craft, critique, decision-making, and execution.
- Own UX research using customer interviews, usability testing, support and feature-request signals, and product instrumentation.
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering to define problems, shape scope, and develop solutions.
- Build and evolve the design system, reusable patterns, and interaction frameworks.
- Establish measurable design and usability standards, including task success, workflow completion, time to resolution, adoption, and support deflection.
- Lead experience strategy for platform migration and consolidation initiatives.
- Represent customer experience in executive forums, roadmap reviews, business reviews, and strategic planning.
