Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5–8 years of experience in program management, membership organizations, international market engagement, or a related field.
- Professional proficiency in Spanish, including the ability to conduct business meetings and produce professional written communications.
- Strong experience supporting membership growth, engagement, retention, or community-building initiatives.
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into practical, measurable programs and actions.
- Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives, deadlines, countries, and stakeholder groups independently.
- Experience monitoring performance metrics and using data and insights to guide program decisions.
- Familiarity with Latin American markets, particularly Brazil and Mexico, is strongly preferred.
- Portuguese proficiency is strongly preferred.
- Experience in scientific, academic, nonprofit, professional association, or membership-based organizations is advantageous.
- An advanced degree is a plus.
- Comfort working autonomously in a fully remote, internationally distributed environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute regional market development strategies across Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, and Chile.
- Research member needs, institutional environments, competitive landscapes, and market trends to inform priorities.
- Develop and execute initiatives to increase membership among students, early-career professionals, and institutional audiences.
- Support retention programs, monitor results, and recommend improvements to member value and renewal rates.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to localize messaging, campaigns, and value propositions.
- Support international and student chapters, working with volunteer leaders and faculty advisors on activation, sustainability, and growth.
- Lead or support regional workshops, webinars, conferences, and partner activities, including event logistics and stakeholder communications.
- Build relationships with universities, research institutions, industry partners, and professional or scientific societies.
- Track program performance and engagement metrics, using data and market feedback to evaluate initiatives and recommend improvements.
