Requirements
- Have 3–5 years of project management experience leading cross-functional projects.
- Demonstrate a track record of delivering complex initiatives on scope and on time.
- Have experience managing regulatory, licensing, or market expansion projects in financial services.
- Be proficient with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or monday.com.
- Have meaningful finance and accounting experience in fintech, banking, brokerage, or RIA environments.
- Be comfortable navigating regulated multi-entity structures, including international subsidiaries.
- Have working knowledge of US corporate tax compliance and experience working with external tax advisors.
- Have hands-on treasury and cash management experience and a working understanding of internal controls.
- Have basic IFRS knowledge sufficient to supervise EU-based accountants.
- Be proficient in NetSuite or comparable enterprise ERP systems.
- Have advanced-level English for cross-team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional projects through completion, including the company's expansion into Europe.
- Manage project workstreams, owners, timelines, and requests from regulators and outside counsel.
- Build the project management function, including intake, prioritization, templates, and status reporting standards.
- Plan and run projects across finance, compliance, legal, and operations from scoping through delivery.
- Track company-wide project timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource needs, and escalate issues.
- Prepare leadership status updates and run project meetings.
- Take on controllership responsibilities such as accounting for technology and RIA entities, consolidated month-end close, or corporate tax compliance.
- Design and implement improvements to the month-end close process using NetSuite and other systems.
- Develop consolidated accounting policies and controls across products and entities.
- Support treasury, audit preparation, risk and controls work, and tax reporting.
