Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, and 15+ years of experience across management and project management, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, practices, processes, and operational leadership.
  • Deep understanding of electric utility-scale interconnection, including renewable PV and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
  • Strong knowledge of construction, SCADA, software implementation, and complex technical project delivery.
  • Proven experience leading teams and Project Managers responsible for large, high-value projects.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution capabilities.
  • High proficiency with MS Project, Azure DevOps (ADO), or other project management tools.
  • Strong strategic thinking and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • PMP certification is highly preferred.
  • SCRUM Master or other Agile Project Management certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Project Management Department, directing, coaching, and overseeing Project Managers.
  • Establish and improve project management practices, processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Direct project management activities to improve sales performance, profitability, efficiency, resource utilization, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and procurement of products and resources needed for project delivery.
  • Partner with Finance to develop and manage project budgets, milestones, compliance requirements, and financial performance.
  • Oversee changes to contract terms and assess project and commercial impacts.
  • Oversee project scope, requirements, and customer needs, and help teams develop and present solutions.
  • Partner with Business Development on proposals, solution definition, and client presentations.
  • Drive automation, process optimization, and operational improvements across project management workflows.
  • Advise executive leadership on organizational growth and oversee Project Managers delivering high-value, technically complex projects.
