Requirements
- Bring 5+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory planning, merchandise planning, supply chain, or a similar analytical planning role.
- Have personally owned SKU-level demand forecasts in a consumer products, retail, CPG, or omnichannel business.
- Demonstrate command of forecasting fundamentals, including seasonality, promotions, new product launches, trend analysis, forecast accuracy, and bias.
- Have experience planning across multiple channels such as DTC, retail, wholesale, Amazon, or marketplaces.
- Have strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and be comfortable building and interrogating complex models.
- Apply analytical judgment to turn imperfect data into clear business recommendations.
- Have experience with ERP, planning, BI, or automation tools; NetSuite, Parabola, Looker, or similar experience is a plus.
- Communicate effectively and constructively challenge assumptions across teams.
- Show a track record of improving processes, models, or systems.
Responsibilities
- Own Coterie's end-to-end demand forecast across DTC, Amazon, retail, wholesale, and other marketplace channels, down to the customer and SKU level.
- Build and maintain rolling forecasts using historical performance, run rates, seasonality, promotions, marketing plans, retail sell-through, customer forecasts, and launches.
- Measure forecast accuracy and bias, diagnose forecast misses, and improve forecasting assumptions, inputs, methods, and processes.
- Build reporting and KPIs to explain demand changes and support business decisions.
- Partner with Supply Planning to translate demand into inventory requirements and identify constraints, risks, and opportunities.
- Translate commercial initiatives, product launches, and channel expansions into SKU-level demand and inventory requirements.
- Develop depletion and cutover plans for packaging changes, assortment updates, and product transitions.
- Improve planning models, reporting, workflows, data quality, and automation; help define planning KPIs, SOPs, and cadences.
- Contribute to Coterie's S&OP process, including monthly demand reviews and executive decision support.
