Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of software development experience across web, mobile applications, APIs, and back-end systems, including hands-on use of modern technologies and AI.
- 5+ years working in startup or small-team environments with limited resources.
- 4+ years managing and scaling offshore engineering teams.
- 5+ years delivering B2B, B2C, and SaaS solutions, with a focus on customer service and highly transactional systems.
- 3+ years leading agile teams with a customer-first mindset.
- Proficiency in PHP, React, React Native, and RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in MySQL or PostgreSQL and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Ability to align technical solutions with strategic objectives.
- Track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead software and data engineering, quality assurance, and delivery teams.
- Execute roadmaps across multiple product groups and agile teams.
- Oversee the design and implementation of scalable architectures aligned with business objectives.
- Maintain data governance, quality, and security standards.
- Drive development and deployment of algorithms, design patterns, performance monitoring, and DevOps.
- Track AI industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with product, program, and business teams to understand requirements.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Direct prioritization and resource allocation.
