Have up to about 3 years of experience in a role combining coding with customer contact, such as product engineering, forward deployed engineering, solutions architecture, or running a startup.
Have built and shipped something used by real people, at work, as a founder, or as a side project.
Have worked at a startup, founder-led company, or fast-moving team and owned work from start to finish.
Hold a degree from a top-tier computer science or engineering program.
Use AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex in your everyday workflow and be able to explain how they affect planning and shipping.
Have solid TypeScript and Python skills and be able to work across APIs, data, and user interfaces.
Demonstrate strong ownership and clear writing, and keep others updated on progress and next steps.
Show an entrepreneurial streak, such as founding something, applying to an accelerator, or growing a side project with real traction.
Be willing to travel roughly 10 to 20 percent for customer visits, conferences, and team offsites.

Work with enterprise engineering teams to uncover gaps in the platform.
Scope and ship fixes based on customer needs.
Take features from first conversation through prototype, launch, and iteration across frontend and backend.
Act as a hands-on technical partner during pilots and after the sale.
Turn one-off customer solutions into reusable parts of the platform.
Use AI coding tools as part of the development workflow.
