Requirements
- Have at least 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Have experience with Microsoft Office.
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime.
- Be able to travel up to 85%.
- Possess a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or passport to comply with federal travel regulations.
- Be familiar with and able to comply with TSA security procedures.
- Be able to travel domestically by road, rail, and air as required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience is preferred.
- Preferred qualifications include 4 years of experience in a security-related industry and 5 years managing safety and health programs in an industrial or warehouse environment.
- Preferred experience includes project management, investigations, training, distribution network and logistics environments, and CCTV-alarm technical comprehension.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety, health, and security programs.
- Serve as the subject matter expert and primary contact for safety, health, and security matters, partnering with operations, HR, Legal, Internal Audit, and external agencies.
- Conduct risk assessments, compliance audits, and security surveys; identify vulnerabilities and drive corrective actions.
- Analyze safety incidents, loss trends, and operational data; lead investigations and develop metrics and insights for leadership.
- Design and deliver safety and security training programs.
- Develop action plans with operational teams to improve safety performance, reduce risk and loss, and align with physical security and environmental standards.
- Participate in process reviews and job hazard analyses for new and existing operations.
- Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms for safety performance, security initiatives, and key performance indicators.
- Build cross-functional relationships to support safety, security, accountability, and continuous improvement.
