Requirements

  • Have 7+ years of progressive compensation, incentive compensation, finance, or related analytical experience.
  • Demonstrate experience designing and administering bonuses, commissions, profit sharing, or other variable-pay programs.
  • Bring expertise in incentive modeling, scenario analysis, payout logic, and financial forecasting.
  • Have experience tracking incentive performance and conducting ROI, trend, and effectiveness analyses.
  • Be able to translate business strategy into practical and operationally sustainable incentive designs.
  • Work effectively with large data sets and deliver clear insights to business leaders.
  • Have advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
  • Bring strong knowledge of compensation practices, controls, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate clearly in writing and verbally, including through plan documents and participant-facing materials.
  • Maintain integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with multi-unit or field-based incentive compensation programs is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certified Compensation Professional certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and refine field bonuses, commissions, profit-sharing plans, and spiffs.
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, and HR leaders to translate business goals into measurable, financially responsible incentive plans.
  • Build and maintain incentive models, forecasts, and scenario analyses.
  • Track plan results, payout distributions, attainment, and business outcomes, and recommend improvements.
  • Conduct ROI and effectiveness analyses of incentive programs.
  • Administer incentive plans, including calculation logic, validation, payout support, issue resolution, controls, and documentation.
  • Develop reporting, dashboards, and recurring insights for leadership.
  • Improve and automate compensation workflows and reporting in collaboration with Payroll, HRIS, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Prepare plan documents, participant communications, leader guides, and training materials.
