Requirements
- Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Field Service technical role.
- Have technical experience in power electronics or a related field.
- Understand electrical safe work practices.
- Comply with OSHA Standards.
- Use Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Bring strong leadership, independent thinking, organizational and planning skills, and analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Leadership experience of at least 1 year is preferred.
- Renewables experience is preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce, CRMs, or other Field Service Management platforms is preferred.
- Be comfortable working outdoors and on job sites in public areas.
- Travel up to 20% as needed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee proposals, bids, quotations, and other customer-requested documents describing products and services.
- Identify and onboard electrical contractors to strengthen service offerings.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to execute multiple projects.
- Work with Procurement leaders and vendors to assess products and services, negotiate pricing, and communicate concerns.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Lead and supervise ESS Field Service Technicians to safely meet service level agreements.
- Assist with resource planning and review daily field technician schedules in the assigned market.
- Build and manage the service partner network through training, quality control, and audits.
- Perform technical work for on-the-job training or complex Level 2 technical jobs as required.
