Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5–8+ years of software engineering experience and a track record of building and shipping production systems.
- Current, hands-on Python expertise for backend services and automation.
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React experience for full-stack delivery, including modern state management such as Redux Toolkit.
- Experience building browser extensions; Chrome Manifest V3 is preferred.
- Hands-on browser automation skills, including CSS selectors, iframes, event simulation, and debugging against real web apps.
- Software design experience across backend services, APIs, WebSockets, and user-facing application layers.
- Experience building or integrating RPA or workflow automation solutions.
- Experience integrating third-party systems, databases, and distributed services in production.
- Hands-on production systems experience with CI/CD, monitoring, performance tuning, and incident troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with healthcare data and regulatory compliance, including HIPAA and GDPR, or ability to ramp quickly in a regulated domain.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and Docker; Kubernetes familiarity is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship full-stack features across Python backend services, APIs, RPA workflows, and browser-extension interfaces.
- Build and extend Chrome extension automation, including content scripts, background or service-worker logic, side-panel UI, and DOM tools.
- Own automation and product components end to end, from clarifying requirements and implementation to production reliability.
- Analyze business and clinical/RCM processes and translate them into automation workflows and reusable components.
- Integrate extension clients with backend orchestration over HTTP and WebSockets.
- Make and implement technical design decisions for scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Write and review code that reinforces engineering practices for quality, testing, security, observability, and operations.
- Build resilient services and interfaces that integrate with products and external healthcare systems, including EHRs and claims platforms.
- Implement healthcare and data-protection requirements, including HIPAA and GDPR.
- Debug, profile, and harden production systems and deployed automations, and mentor engineers through design discussions, pairing, and code review.
