Requirements
- Have 1+ years of experience in Human Resources, with exposure to employee relations, investigations, or people compliance.
- Be fluent in both English and French, verbally and in writing.
- Have working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally, and handle sensitive matters professionally and discreetly.
- Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate sound judgment, attention to detail, and a high degree of confidentiality.
- Be proficient with Google Workspace tools.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- CHRP designation or working toward the designation is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the People Experience team, including scheduling meetings and preparing documentation.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and personnel records.
- Assist with data entry, reporting, audits, compliance document tracking, and certifications.
- Respond to basic questions about people and culture policies and escalate complex inquiries.
- Coordinate logistics for People Experience initiatives and training sessions, and support monthly reporting and market follow-up.
- Support employee relations matters, including performance concerns, conduct issues, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
- Coordinate benefits-related leave maintenance and return-to-work processes.
- Coordinate employee relations case intake, documentation, and follow-up, and support workplace investigations by gathering information, preparing documents, and coordinating interviews.
- Support employee engagement and compliance initiatives, site visits, audits, and training coordination.
- Maintain the North America Tenure Program, including accurate tracking, timely recognition, data integrity, and consistent application of program guidelines across Canada and the United States.
