Requirements
- Have 1+ years of experience in Human Resources, with exposure to employee relations, investigations, or people compliance.
- Communicate fluently in English and French, verbally and in writing.
- Have working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and handle sensitive matters professionally and discreetly.
- Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Show sound judgment, attention to detail, and a high degree of confidentiality.
- Be proficient with Google Workspace tools.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- CHRP designation or working toward the designation is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the People Experience team, including scheduling meetings and preparing documentation.
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee files and personnel records in line with company policies and legal requirements.
- Assist with data entry, reporting, audits, document tracking, and certification support.
- Respond to basic people and culture policy inquiries and escalate more complex questions.
- Coordinate logistics for People Experience initiatives and training sessions, and support monthly reporting and market follow-up.
- Support employee relations matters involving performance concerns, conduct issues, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
- Coordinate benefits-related leave maintenance and the return-to-work process.
- Document and coordinate employee relations cases, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate records.
- Support workplace investigations by gathering information, preparing documents, coordinating interviews, and maintaining files.
- Administer and maintain the North America Tenure Program across Canada and the United States, including tracking, recognition, and data integrity.
