Requirements
- Bring 8-15+ years of UX design experience, including substantial work on business software applications; brand or consumer-only experience is not sufficient.
- Hold a BS/BA, or equivalent experience, in graphic design, interaction design, HCI, new media, or a related field.
- Demonstrate success working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams in a fast-paced software environment.
- Apply strong systems thinking to complex, multi-step workflows.
- Demonstrate mastery of UX design principles and modern product design practices.
- Have high proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Jira, and Pendo.
- Communicate design decisions clearly to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrate strong sketching, ideation, and rapid prototyping abilities.
- Provide a portfolio showcasing high-quality UX work, strong craft, and clear problem-solving.
- Have hands-on experience using AI-native ways of working in product design, such as AI for research synthesis, prototyping, experimentation, writing, analysis, and faster decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead design efforts across multiple product areas, balancing customer needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
- Translate complex workflows into concepts, flows, prototypes, and refined design deliverables.
- Break down strategic initiatives into actionable, incremental design steps.
- Lead one or more cross-functional squads, facilitating alignment and maintaining design quality throughout product development.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to shape roadmaps, define problem spaces, and influence prioritization.
- Guide adoption and evolution of design system components, patterns, and documentation.
- Ensure consistency, scalability, and WCAG 2.2 AA conformity across the product suite.
- Lead customer discovery and usability testing, synthesizing insights to inform product direction and validate design decisions.
- Mentor Product Designers and Senior Product Designers and contribute to design reviews.
- Share design knowledge, tools, and methods with the team.
