Requirements
- Bring 5+ years of experience in an operational accounting role.
- Have experience working within a publicly traded company environment.
- Have experience with SOX compliance and internal controls.
- Know revenue recognition under ASC 606 and GAAP.
- Be able to analyze and interpret large, complex datasets.
- Communicate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders in writing and verbally.
- Have a demonstrated track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Prior experience managing or mentoring a team is a plus.
- Experience with Workday ERP is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting and operational activities for several key revenue streams.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and financial regulations, including SOX.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures to support team scalability and knowledge transfer.
- Partner with business units to explain the financial impact of proposed transactions and support financial decision-making.
- Collaborate with finance and data teams to streamline data sources and reduce time to insight and anomaly detection.
- Implement automation and AI initiatives to streamline processes, upskill the team, and improve efficiency.
