Requirements
- Have 6+ years of software engineering experience.
- Be comfortable working across multiple platforms and environments.
- Have strong engineering fundamentals; a computer science degree is a plus.
- Have a track record of working on challenging problems such as job scheduling, concurrency, and scaling.
- Have experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
- Have experience building REST APIs.
- Have experience deploying complex applications on cloud platforms using a container orchestration platform such as Kubernetes.
- Have experience working with SQL databases.
- Elixir experience is a plus; experience with Go, Python, Ruby, Node, or other general-purpose programming languages is also relevant.
- ClickHouse and video experience are pluses.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to execute product goals and the technical roadmap.
- Develop user-facing, product-focused features in Elixir and Go backend services and the React frontend.
- Build and scale the billing and usage platform supporting Mux products.
- Work on identity and account management product features.
- Develop distributed notifications, including application webhooks and alerting features.
- Build and manage scalable, highly available applications and services that support product features and growing traffic.
- Help ensure the customer-facing platform is resilient.
