Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Be highly comfortable with frequent travel and extensive time in the field.
  • Have documented success as a top-performing sales representative.
  • Have medical device and/or capital equipment sales experience within the neurosurgery market.

Responsibilities

  • Translate product training and education into sales across the surgical technology portfolio.
  • Develop sales strategies for existing and prospective accounts throughout the assigned territory.
  • Generate and maintain a complete customer database for the territory.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders through visits, calls, industry events, and ongoing communication.
  • Manage the sales cycle, including presentations, product evaluations, contract negotiations, closing, delivery, installation, and post-sale support.
  • Prepare sales and tender documentation, including quotations, letters, and responses to technical questions.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of accounts, distributors, and the market, and identify upgrade opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share account information and support cross-selling.
  • Forecast sales and provide data for annual budget planning.
  • Develop and execute a 12-month territory sales strategy and monitor territory expenses.
