Requirements
- Provide a portfolio showing high-craft visual and interaction design, including dense layouts and multi-step workflows.
- Demonstrate deep Figma proficiency, including variables, auto-layout, variants, prototyping, and component library hygiene.
- Be comfortable designing AI-native UX for products with probabilistic rather than deterministic outputs.
- Show facility with data-dense UIs, including tables, filtering and sorting, bulk actions, and information-heavy layouts.
- Have strong user research instincts, including conducting interviews, synthesizing qualitative signal, and connecting findings to design decisions.
- Demonstrate accessibility proficiency, including WCAG, ARIA, color and contrast, and motion sensitivity.
- Bring experience contributing to or building design systems, with an understanding of component architecture and design for reuse.
- Show a product mindset, communicate design rationale clearly, and know when to push back and when to ship.
- Bring visual design skills and brand sensibility; this is a plus when work extends beyond product UI.
Responsibilities
- Own design end-to-end for a core product area, from early discovery through high-fidelity Figma design.
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering throughout the design process.
- Lead customer discovery sessions and run usability tests.
- Translate customer workflow research into design decisions that shape the product.
- Design UX patterns for multi-step automation workflows, AI-generated content, data-dense tables, and high-stakes decision surfaces.
- Design AI-native experiences, including uncertainty states, intervention affordances, streaming content, and graceful error handling.
- Build and maintain Figma component libraries and design system assets.
- Advocate for accessibility through WCAG compliance, color and contrast, keyboard navigation, and inclusive design practices.
- Scope design work pragmatically, balancing craft and delivery velocity without compromising correctness.
