Have 7+ years of backend or platform engineering experience.
Have 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role.
Bring deep experience designing configurable, multi-tenant platforms, such as metadata-driven data models, workflow engines, or templating systems.
Have taken products or major features from 0→1 into production and know when to move quickly and when to invest in scale.
Be able to enter unfamiliar domains, learn from experts, and translate that knowledge into technical designs.
Connect technical decisions to customer and business outcomes.
Have experience building third-party integrations, including OAuth flows, signed webhooks, data sync, and error recovery.
Understand security, scalability, and data isolation in multi-tenant SaaS environments.
Communicate effectively with engineers and non-technical domain stakeholders.

Lead the architecture and delivery of industry solutions from customer problem discovery and early validation through production launch at scale.
Make speed-versus-scale trade-offs, shipping lean versions for customer validation and hardening successful solutions into reusable platform capabilities.
Design a reusable industry layer of configurable objects, workflows, templates, and automations for different verticals.
Build integrations with industry platforms, payment providers, and booking and ticketing systems.
Define standards for versioning, feature-flag rollouts, and rollbacks across accounts and sub-accounts.
Build reliable event-driven systems for real-time workflows such as orders, reservations, check-ins, and payments.
Collaborate with core platform teams to expose safe, well-documented extension points.
Lead and mentor engineers through technical direction and code reviews, working with product and design.
Drive observability, performance, and error handling across industry workflows and integrations.
Work with product and go-to-market teams to identify opportunities and measure customer adoption and time-to-value.
