Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Medical Billing/Coding, or Health Information Technology.
- Hold AAPC credentials for CPB.
- Be a current AAPC-Approved Instructor for CPB.
- Have 1-2 years of experience in the medical billing field.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and internet applications.
- Be willing to self-assess, take feedback, and incorporate results into practice.
- Demonstrate the ability to function as a team member within established college, state, federal, and accrediting or approval agency regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Submit a resume or CV, unofficial Master's and Bachelor's transcripts, and at least three professional references.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate a structured, self-paced online learning experience for Professional Biller (CPB) classes.
- Prepare students for the AAPC Certified Professional Biller exam.
- Facilitate an active virtual learning classroom through alternative delivery methodologies.
- Use teaching methods and technology to support the online learning experience.
- Maintain contemporary knowledge and skills in the discipline.
- Participate in departmental, campus-wide, and college-wide activities supporting students and the Continuing Education team.
