Requirements
- Have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or qualifying equivalent education and experience.
- Bring 4+ years’ experience as a Security or Network Administrator, or equivalent knowledge.
- Have working knowledge of security methodologies, processes, and technical security solutions, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Have strong knowledge and experience with TCP/IP protocols, network analysis, and network/security applications.
- Have strong experience with Linux and Windows command lines.
- Have strong experience troubleshooting applications in Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
- Be available for on-call response to critical support incidents.
Responsibilities
- Triage issues related to network security device monitoring.
- Respond to and handle lower-tier support issues through resolution, escalating as required.
- Troubleshoot and replicate customer issues with CIS network monitoring services, cloud-based applications and services, and cybersecurity products, including in customer environments and systems.
- Liaise between third-party vendors and customers to troubleshoot technical problems, coordinate device maintenance and outages, and provide general support.
- Assist with configuring, tracking inventory, and shipping Albert hardware sensors.
- Transition action items to and from SOC Analysts and other teams to support off-hours, product-related work.
- Respond to critical support incidents while on call.
- Support internal teams in issue replication, fix and workaround testing, and quality assurance for new and enhanced products.
