Have 7+ years of professional experience designing, building, and operating production-grade web services.
Have a strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, complexity, and concurrency.
Bring extensive experience with distributed systems and an understanding of distributed computing challenges.
Demonstrate advanced proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript and experience with server-side frameworks such as Express or NestJS.
Have experience designing, developing, and maintaining production-grade RESTful APIs.
Know API versioning, authentication, rate limiting, pagination, and other API design best practices.
Have expertise in microservices, event-driven systems, and CQRS.
Have hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Have strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
Have solid SQL expertise, including schema design, indexing, migrations, and performance optimization using PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Demonstrate professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
Python backend development is highly desirable; AWS operations experience and MongoDB familiarity are advantages.

Design, develop, maintain, and operate scalable web services and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.
Operationalize Python-based AI tools within production Node.js and Python services in collaboration with AI engineers.
Make architecture and technical decisions that balance scalability, performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
Build and maintain production-grade RESTful APIs using authentication, versioning, rate limiting, and pagination best practices.
Develop distributed systems and scalable architectures using microservices, event-driven architecture, and CQRS.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues while maintaining system stability and service quality.
Establish coding standards and continuously evaluate technologies, tools, and engineering approaches.
Own and prioritize the technical backlog, aligning priorities across stakeholders.
Collaborate with AI, product, frontend, QA, DevOps, and external partners.
Document technical work, improve engineering processes, and mentor and support engineers.
