Requirements
- Have 5-7 years of experience solving complex business problems with data in analytics engineering, data engineering, data science, analytics, or a similar role.
- Show a track record of independently identifying opportunities and owning projects from idea through delivery and adoption.
- Have experience partnering directly with business stakeholders and influencing what should be built and how problems should be approached.
- Demonstrate excellent SQL skills and proficiency with Python.
- Bring extensive experience with dbt and Snowflake, including building clean, reusable data models.
- Have experience governing and building dashboards in business intelligence tools.
- Have experience designing or working with semantic layers and governed metric definitions.
- Predictive modeling and machine learning familiarity is a plus.
- Experience with reverse ETL and data activation is a plus.
- Front-end development and user-facing application experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pitch high-value opportunities where data, analytics, or automation can improve business outcomes.
- Own projects from problem definition through implementation, adoption, and impact measurement.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand goals, challenge assumptions, and shape solutions to ambiguous problems.
- Build scalable, production-quality data models in dbt.
- Design reusable data foundations and semantic-layer capabilities for BI, operational workflows, ML, and AI use cases.
- Improve data quality, consistency, and usability through modeling, testing, documentation, and metric governance.
- Help raise the team's technical and analytical bar through thoughtful design and knowledge sharing.
