Requirements

  • Demonstrated ownership of user acquisition, activation, and retention strategy in a pre-PMF or high-ambiguity scale-up context.
  • Ability to run disciplined, evidence-led growth experiments and pivot or scale based on results.
  • Hands-on experience establishing signal architecture and analyzing retention.
  • Experience calculating customer acquisition cost (CAC) and demonstrating return on marketing spend.
  • Ability to move independently between growth strategy and hands-on execution.
  • Ability to collect and translate quantitative and qualitative user feedback into product input.
  • Experience in EdTech or consumer products targeting higher-education students is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with transitioning product-led growth adoption into large B2B sales cycles is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow a retained D2C user base for Genio Planner ahead of and beyond its September 2026 launch.
  • Design, run, and analyze growth experiments across paid social, campus ambassador programs, organic SEO, and referral channels.
  • Define and track activation, engagement, retention, and .edu concentration metrics.
  • Manage the Planner growth budget and optimize marketing spend.
  • Gather qualitative and quantitative feedback from Planner users.
  • Translate user feedback into clear, prioritized inputs for the product roadmap.
  • Identify universities with concentrated student usage.
  • Package usage data into qualified leads for the institutional sales team.
