Hold a higher education degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
Have strong knowledge of mathematical statistics and probability theory.
Have experience applying statistical methods to real-world analytical and product problems.
Demonstrate advanced proficiency in data extraction, processing, analysis, and visualization.
Have hands-on experience using MS SQL, Python, and Excel.
Have practical experience designing, running, and analyzing A/B tests, including statistical evaluation and interpretation.
Understand marketing and product metrics and how to apply them to evaluate performance and identify opportunities.
Be able to investigate complex questions, identify meaningful patterns, and translate findings into practical recommendations.
Be able to collaborate with Product, Data Engineering, and functional leadership teams.

Own and evolve the product metrics tree, keeping key metric definitions clear and consistent.
Validate metrics and dashboards and specify reporting needs for Data Engineering.
Partner with product and functional leads to investigate performance fluctuations and anomalies.
Research bottlenecks, conversion drop-offs, customer segments, and patterns that may reveal growth opportunities.
Use quantitative analysis to validate product hypotheses and help prioritize problems by potential impact.
Design and analyze A/B tests, including sample-size calculations, minimum detectable effect, duration, randomization, and pre-test validation.
Check experiment splits and run sanity checks before interpreting results.
Define experiment tracking requirements, including necessary events and instrumentation.
Maintain an experiment archive and provide actionable recommendations from tests.
