Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in a clinical discipline, information technology/informatics, business, education, management, communications, or a related field, or have equivalent education or experience.
- Have 2 years in a position with the same or similar primary duties working with a clinical information system in a healthcare setting.
- Have experience with EHR systems.
- Have experience with the benefits and challenges of adult learning.
- Be available to work Wednesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. PDT.
- Informatics certification or credentialing is preferred; it may be considered equivalent to up to 2 years of experience at the hiring manager’s discretion.
Responsibilities
- Support Providence clinicians and caregivers in their use of Epic.
- Act as a liaison between clinical practice and Information Services.
- Support clinical and interprofessional caregivers throughout the care continuum.
- Support the implementation, learning, use, adoption, and optimization of clinical technologies.
- Promote understanding and effective use of information technology in healthcare settings.
