Requirements

  • Ideally educated to degree standard.
  • CIPD qualification in Learning and Development or equivalent business experience.
  • A minimum of three years in a sales, property or retail sales-related role.
  • Experience of apprenticeship programmes.
  • Qualified to provide competent assessments for Level 2 and Level 3 apprenticeships.
  • Experience of different learning platforms is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to work accurately and remain well organised.
  • Self-motivated, confident and flexible.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deliver training programmes to improve colleague performance in sales and customer experience.
  • Deliver training that meets procedural compliance and legislative requirements.
  • Develop and maintain training manuals, documentation and Operations Manuals.
  • Review training materials and activities to support learning and improvement.
  • Keep training materials current with company procedures, operating systems, key tasks and legal requirements.
  • Keep up to date with training best practice and recommend appropriate implementation.
  • Coordinate special projects and provide support or cover in other areas when required.
  • Identify systems training needs and design solutions, including blended learning and e-learning.
  • Manage allocated training projects through design and delivery to the required standard, deadline and cost.
  • Support, mentor and assess apprentices, and deliver apprenticeship assessments on the Vocational Development Programme.
