Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience building, operating, and maintaining production system integrations, particularly integrations moving data between ERP, WMS, or similar business systems.
- Demonstrate strong software engineering fundamentals, including designing pipelines and debugging production issues under pressure.
- Have hands-on experience using AI development tools.
- Bring experience with Airflow, Airbyte, or comparable data-pipeline infrastructure.
- Be able to work with incomplete specifications and turn ambiguous direction into concrete, shipped solutions.
- Be willing to implement solutions directly rather than relying primarily on design or delegation.
- Demonstrate security awareness, including the ability to identify appropriate questions about agent permissions, system access, authentication, and data protection.
- Become productive quickly with unfamiliar technologies, frameworks, languages, or platforms.
- Evaluate technologies based on practical merits rather than familiarity or trends.
- Communicate knowledge gaps clearly and avoid unsupported assumptions.
- Document technical decisions and explain complex technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with agent frameworks or MCP is valuable; building an MCP server or similar agent-tooling layer is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Own, maintain, and enhance integrations connecting ERP, warehouse management, data warehouse, and adjacent internal systems.
- Simplify and consolidate integrations to reduce duplicated logic, unnecessary moving parts, and maintenance overhead.
- Rebuild integration flows on more effective infrastructure when appropriate.
- Build and expand the internal MCP layer, including connectors and tools for AI agents to interact safely with business systems.
- Help define and implement authentication, access controls, auditing, and governance for AI agents with security and infrastructure stakeholders.
- Provide technical enablement to teams working on integrations and agent-related initiatives.
- Use AI development tools to accelerate coding, maintenance, and problem-solving while maintaining correctness and quality.
- Own the performance, stability, maintainability, and quality of delivered systems and code.
- Document technical decisions and explain complex tradeoffs to others.
- Take ambiguous ideas from concept through implementation, collaboration, and delivery.
