Requirements
- Have 5+ years of full-stack software development experience.
- Be proficient in Java/JDK, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and relational databases.
- Have experience developing and integrating REST and SOAP web services.
- Have experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
- Have experience with middleware technologies such as WebLogic, Apache, and Tomcat.
- Have experience with data integration and ETL layers.
- Have experience working with AWS, Azure, or comparable government cloud platforms.
- Be proficient with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
- Have experience applying defensive coding and secure software development practices.
- Have experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Have an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and troubleshoot application components using Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and relational databases.
- Develop and maintain secure REST and SOAP web services and integrations with external DoD and federal systems.
- Build and support system integrations, data flows, and ETL layers while maintaining data accuracy, reliability, and system performance.
- Implement software in accordance with applicable DoD cybersecurity, testing, configuration, and development standards.
- Support deployments and release activities in cloud-hosted environments, including AWS GovCloud and comparable platforms.
- Contribute to Agile/Scrum activities, including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, demonstrations, estimation, and user story updates.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support, conduct root-cause analysis, and resolve incidents, defects, and performance or functionality issues.
- Monitor application environments and help maintain system reliability and operational performance.
- Create and maintain technical specifications, integration documentation, test scripts, release notes, and version control records.
