Have 8+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails or C# in production software engineering environments.
Hold a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Have experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
Understand relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
Have strong object-oriented programming, debugging, data structures, and algorithm skills.
Have experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.
Have experience designing scalable systems and low-latency APIs, including highly available, resilient, and fault-tolerant systems.
Have experience with CI/CD pipelines; GitLab and Terraform are preferred.
Be familiar with Docker and Kubernetes; ECS or Docker Swarm experience is also valuable.
Have experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Know web application security and secure software development practices.
Be able to analyze technical problems, evaluate trade-offs, and select effective solutions.
Be able to communicate technical updates clearly to customers, partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Have demonstrated ability to mentor teammates, share knowledge, document solutions, and improve engineering standards.
Have professional proficiency in English and be willing to apply AI tools to everyday technical challenges.

Design, develop, test, and deploy reusable, maintainable software for large-scale production environments.
Build and enhance applications using Ruby on Rails and/or C#, including APIs and React-based user interfaces.
Develop and consume REST APIs designed for scalability, availability, fault tolerance, and low latency.
Apply test-driven development, object-oriented programming, debugging, data structures, and algorithms.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and business stakeholders to define solutions and deliver capabilities.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, containerized environments, and deployment practices.
Address application security, performance, scalability, reliability, and load requirements.
Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, document solutions, and share knowledge.
Mentor engineers and improve team capabilities, engineering practices, and technical decision-making.
Use AI tools to support software development, diagnostics, automation, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
