10+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, including substantial production software design and delivery.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Experience building and serving REST APIs using Java, Python, or a comparable programming language.
Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript or similar modern frontend technologies.
Strong understanding of distributed and cloud-based architectures and scalable solution design.
Experience with distributed systems patterns such as transactional outboxes and messaging or queuing technologies such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka.
Experience with SQL-based relational databases and ORM technologies.
Familiarity with observability and production monitoring platforms such as Prometheus, New Relic, or Datadog.
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with containerized microservices and Kubernetes; AWS experience is preferred.
Demonstrated experience delivering commercial APIs and web applications to production and taking features from concept through launch and improvement.

Design, develop, test, and deliver full-stack software applications and product features.
Build frontend experiences using React and modern TypeScript practices.
Develop and integrate REST APIs using Java, Python, or similar backend technologies.
Contribute to scalable, reliable distributed and cloud-based architectures and microservices.
Apply architectural patterns and messaging technologies such as transactional outboxes, RabbitMQ, SQS, and Kafka.
Collaborate with Product, Support, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate needs into technical solutions.
Develop and monitor product and engineering metrics, and use customer feedback to guide improvements.
Contribute to automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, as well as DevOps and CI/CD practices.
Instrument applications and services for production monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting.
Lead project workstreams when needed and mentor other engineers.
